Mr. Adetola Atekoja is the Chairman of Maritime Microfinance Bank. He is an experienced banker with over 30 years exposure and experience in Public Practice & Consulting, Industrial, Financial and Maritime Sectors of the Economy.<br /> He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) and Harvard Kennedy School, Boston, USA. He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and Chartered Institute of Taxation.<br /> He started his career in 1983 with the prestigious Audit and Consulting firm, KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick, Ani, Ogunde & Co.) and left in 1987 as an Audit Senior. He joined Inlaks Group Nigeria as Group Corporate Finance Officer and later as Group Investment Manager in 1988. He was seconded as Chief Accountant/Treasurer of First Aluminium Co. Plc (a subsidiary of Inlaks Group Nigeria).<br /> He was headhunted to set up the Corporate Finance Department at Kapital Merchant Bank in 1993 and he became the pioneer Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, County Savings and Loans Trust Limited. He worked at Marina Bank Limited and later at Access Bank Plc before joining Nigerian Ports Authority in 2006 as General Manager, Finance. He was promoted to the post of Executive Director, Finance and Administration in 2007, a position he retired from after completing his tenure of office.<br /> He held Directorship positions in Lagos Channel Management Company Limited, Bonny Channel Company Limited, Metropolitan Trust Insurance Company Limited, and Continental Shipyard Limited.<br /> He was a member of the Presidential Taskforce on Port Reform Programme of the Federal Government and a member of the Federal Government Committee on relationship with the Islamic Development Bank.<br /> He enjoys reading and is also interested in photography.<br />
MR. SALAU JIMOH OYEBISI, ACA
Mr. Oyebisi Salau is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Microfinfinance Bank Limited. Prior to his appointment, he was the immediate past Head, Financial Control of Davo Dani Microfinance Bank Limited. He read Accountancy at the Polytechnic, Ibadan. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (ACILRM) and a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho in Oyo state.<br /> He has over thirteen years of banking experience having worked with Personal Trust Microfinance Bank Ltd and Mainstreet Microfinance Bank Ltd, a subsidiary of Mainstreet Bank Ltd (Formerly Afribank Plc). He has worked in different capacities as Risk Management Officer, Business Manager; Head, Financial Control &Treasury; Head, Loan Monitoring & Recovery Unit, and Head, Internal Control & Audit Department.<br /> He was also a Group Cluster Controller in Lagos Island Control Cluster Centre on deployment to Mainstreet Bank Ltd.<br /> Prior to this he worked in Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) MF where he held roles in Client Relationship and Branch Management. He contributed immensely as a team member towards the rapid growth and expansion of LAPO, Mainstreet MFB and DavoDani MFB in Lagos.
DR. Bolaji Akinola is a maritime and corporate communication expert.<br /> He is the CEO of Nigeria’s leading maritime media and public relations firm, Ships & Ports; Co-Founder/Director of the Maritime Microfinance Bank and Spokesman of the Seaport Terminal Operators Association of Nigeria (STOAN).<br /> He also consults for leading maritime companies within and outside Nigeria.<br /> Akinola holds a Doctorate degree of Philosophy (PhD) and specialized in Media and Communication at Pan-Atlantic University, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos; Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Lagos Business School; and Masters in Transport Management, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.<br /> He served as the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Maritime Expo (NIMAREX) from 2011 to 2014; President, Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) from 2011 to 2014 and President Executive MBA 15 Alumni Class of Lagos Business School from 2011 to 2015.<br /> A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS) and Fellow of the Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (CISN), he is widely travelled and has won several awards and accolades in the maritime sector.<br />
Mr. Ogbeide is a graduate of the University of Benin, a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation, with 15 years’ experience spanning from Banking, Procurement, Construction and Project Management. He has undertaken several courses in Public Private Partnership (PPP), Finance and Business Process Re-engineering in Nigeria and Overseas – University of Wisconsin, USA, IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain among others. He holds an Executive MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School.
Mrs. Tsakma is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of La-mira Project Solutions Limited, a parent company with 2 subsidiaries; Visible Changes, a cosmetology consulting firm and Lams gifted hands, a Confectionery outfit. She obtained her Banking and Finance Degree from University of Maiduguri in 1994, and an Executive Master’s Degree from the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University in 2011.<br /> Immediately after her NYSC, she decided to be a full time entrepreneur, hence her decision to travel to Houston and Dallas Texas in 1995 to brush up her skills in cosmetology and sugarcraft. She has over 18 years work experience in beauty consultancy, confectionery, and business development.<br /> Lami is a mentor and has trained a number of upcoming entrepreneurs in business development and strategy. She is a member of the Women in Business association of Nigeria (WIMBIZ), International Cake Exploration Society (ICES), Shanghai Club, Lagos Business School Chapter and also an alumni of the Pan Atlantic University.<br />
Prince Olayiwola Shittu is a Director of the Company. He is a frontline freight forwarder and the Chairman of Skelas Group, Chairman, Publicity Committee of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN). Prince Olayiwola Shittu is a seasoned Administrator and retired frontline Freight Forwarder and an Alumnus of the University of Ibadan.<br /> As a seasoned Freight Forwarder, Prince Shittu rose to become the 7th National President of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA). It is on record that his tenure at ANCLA positioned the Association as a world class organisation.<br /> As a young man, Prince Shittu worked with Nigerian Postal Service after a little stint with Lever Brothers. He also worked with the Nigeria Port Authority for 11 years.<br />
