MR. SALAU JIMOH OYEBISI,  ACA

MD / CEO

Mr. Oyebisi Salau is the Managing Director/Chief Executive
Officer of Maritime Microfinance Bank Limited. Before his appointment, he was the immediate past Head, Financial Control of Davo Dani Microfinance Bank Limited. He read Accountancy at the Polytechnic, Ibadan. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (ACILRM) and a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He also holds an MBA in Finance from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho in Oyo state.

He has over thirteen years of banking experience having worked with Personal Trust Microfinance Bank Ltd and Mainstreet Microfinance Bank Ltd, a subsidiary of Mainstreet Bank Ltd (Formerly Afribank Plc). He has worked in different capacities as Risk Management Officer, Business Manager; Head, Financial Control &Treasury; Head, Loan Monitoring & Recovery Unit, and Head, Internal Control & Audit Department.

He was also a Group Cluster Controller in Lagos Island Control Cluster Centre on deployment to Mainstreet Bank Ltd.

Prior to this, he worked in Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) MF where he held roles in Client Relationship and Branch Management. He contributed immensely as a team member towards the rapid growth and expansion of LAPO, Mainstreet MFB, and DavoDani MFB in Lagos.
